By downloading or using goWhere, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use goWhere on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.

2. Purchases and subscriptions

goWhere offers optional paid features: a one-time unlock for an individual city, a one-time all-access purchase that unlocks every city for the life of the app, and an auto-renewing all-access subscription. All purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play through your store account — never by us. Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel them in your App Store or Google Play account settings. One-time unlocks are not subscriptions and do not renew. Payment, billing, and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their terms. If you reinstall the app or move to a new device, tap "Restore purchases" on the city screen: your unlocks are read back from your App Store or Google Play account — we keep no record of them.

3. Content and intellectual property

The editorial content in goWhere — route writing, descriptions, and design — is original and belongs to Mehmet Fatih Yilmaz. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute it.

Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL): openstreetmap.org/copyright. Background facts are informed by openly licensed sources including Wikidata and Wikipedia.

4. Third-party services

goWhere uses Google Maps Platform. By using the app you also agree to be bound by Google's Terms of Service (https://cloud.google.com/maps-platform/terms) and you acknowledge Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). Use of the app through the App Store is also subject to Apple's standard EULA referenced above.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, including attempting to reverse-engineer it, extract or scrape its content, or use it in any unlawful way.

6. Safety and route disclaimer

goWhere provides walking routes and place information for general and informational purposes only. Always be aware of your surroundings, follow local traffic and safety rules, and use your own judgment. Conditions on the ground change and information may be incomplete or out of date. You are responsible for your own safety while walking. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of the routes or information in the app.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mehmet Fatih Yilmaz will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
